Privacy Policy

Who we are

Órale Band LLC is a live music act based in Boise, Idaho, performing across the Treasure Valley and the surrounding region. This policy covers the website at oraleband.com.

If you have any question about this policy or about information we hold, write to booking@oraleband.com or call 208-803-7978.

What we collect when you contact us

The booking form on our Contact page asks for the information we need to answer a booking enquiry:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number
• Your event date
• The venue or city
• Approximate guest count
• The type of event
• Anything else you choose to tell us in the message field

We ask for these because we cannot quote a booking without them. You decide what to put in the message field — please do not send us payment card details, identification numbers or anything else sensitive through this form.

When you submit the form, two things happen. A copy is saved in the website’s database, and a copy is emailed to our booking address. The form also records the IP address and browser the submission came from, which we use to filter spam.

How we use it

We use what you send us to reply to your enquiry, to prepare a quote, and to arrange and perform the booking if you go ahead. That is all. We do not sell your information, rent it, trade it, or hand it to anyone for their own marketing. We do not add you to a mailing list because you asked for a quote.

Who else touches it

A few service providers process information on our behalf in the course of running the site and our email:

• Hostinger — hosts the website and our email. Form submissions and emails sit on their servers.
• Wordfence — our security plugin. It logs IP addresses and login attempts to block attacks.
• LiteSpeed and the Hostinger CDN — cache and deliver the site’s pages and images.

We may also share information where the law requires it, or where we need to establish or defend a legal claim.

How long we keep it

Booking enquiries stay in the website database and in our email so we have a record of what was agreed. We clear out enquiries that did not lead to a booking periodically. If you want yours removed sooner, email us and we will delete it.

Cookies

This site sets a small number of cookies. Some keep the site working — remembering a shopping cart, or keeping you signed in if you have an account here. Others are set by our caching layer to serve pages faster.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Parts of the site may not work properly if you do.

Shop

Our online shop is not yet open and processes no orders or payments at present. When it opens, this policy will be updated to describe what is collected at checkout and which payment provider handles it. We will never see or store your full card number.

Embedded content

Some pages embed video from other websites. Embedded content behaves exactly as if you had visited that other site directly, and that site may collect information about you and set its own cookies. Their privacy policy governs what they do, not ours.

Analytics

We do not currently run any analytics or advertising trackers on this site. If that changes, we will update this policy and say so here before it goes live.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email booking@oraleband.com and we will deal with it. We may need to confirm who you are first. There is no charge.

Children

This site is aimed at people booking live music, not at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, tell us and we will remove it.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS, sits behind a security plugin and a firewall, and access to the admin area is limited to a small number of accounts. No website is perfectly secure, and we cannot promise otherwise, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you send us.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be noted here rather than made quietly.
